hello everyone.
eh i'm turning 21 in 3 hours lah. hahaha.
how amazing is that. it's kinda sad mum is not here to celebrate it with me but i made her promise this will be the first and last hahaha.
seriously ah she must be here considering how she endured a 4.1kg beast in her uterus for a while.
anyway! since i'm blogging right.. i wanna show you what i have blogged about every year about my birthday. it's hilarious lah when i read back so here's to all of you:)

hahahaha mengarut sey budak kecik ni.

anyway let's be serious for a bit.
today will be my last post before i step into what society call, adulthood.
but before i do that and emerge myself into the extremities of life, good or bad, let's reflect on what i've done/achieved/suffered for the past 21 years of my life.
i strongly believe these things that happened before me has contributed in a way or another no matter how small or large to how i am today.
- i have learnt to love my mum more than anything in this world and 3 times more than i do my dad (cheh sesungguhnya Nabi SAW bersabda..)
- i have lived in 3 countries since the day i was born. like it or not, it's probably one of the major reasons that makes me me today. at the very least my view of the world is probably different than many and i'm quite happy about it..
- i have flown on an airplane 25 times (or more possibly) with the first one when i was 2 from brunei to singapore to oman.
- i have been in 3 different education systems, kindergarten in oman, school in singapore and high school in australia. maybe that's the reason why i'm strange and weird. hehe.
- i am 3/4 done in completing my first degree. it is not one of the best move in my life doing this degree but it taught me a lot of stuffs mainly non-academic and taught me how to appreciate life in a whole new level.
- i have met, befriended and acquainted with a million different people from at least 20 different countries. namely indonesia, japan, taiwan, korea, china, serbia, usa, thailand. it's amazing cos it's like international day every day!
- i learnt to love and appreciate my cat bobo in so many different ways. he's the best thing ever happened to me. awww.

- i never had a proper boyfriend. the good thing is i learn how to live independently, the bad thing is mum is getting worried. hahahaha.
- i got my drivers license and bought a car which happens to be the most expensive single item i've ever bought. yeah i'm broke.
- i had a credit card once and was in debt with the bank for nearly 1000 for a few months. i repaid it (took me a while) and i straight away closed the card. scary shit. moral of the story? 18 years old does not entitle you to a credit card. never ever ever ever.
- the two group of people that matters the most to me is my family and my friends. i learnt that no matter what happens in this world and if one by one your friends walk away, your family will always be by your side.
- i was involved in an accident which has something to do with speeding. my parents and i was injured and mum had 8 of her ribcages broken. speeding is nasty people, if you think it's cool you're the dumbest person i've ever met.
- i was fined $450 in 2007 and got my licence suspended for 3 months. fun times! :X
- i had my fair share of the stupidest thing i've ever done especially in sec school and i will never revisit that episode of my life ever again. on the bright side, sec school has taught me a great deal on growing up and i am tremendously appreciative about that. plus i met some very nice people from sec school lahhh.
- i go by ALOT of different names since i don't know when. one is in primary school - AG. i.e. aqilah giler or my brother used to say, aqilah gemok. in secondary school - aqil. haha. and then they're is aquilah, akiller, shawty is akiller, seetea, sydney, cindy, city and the list goes on.
- i have made very bad decisions along the way which impacted the people around me in a negative way. not proud of those but over time i accepted it and learnt from it and made sure it will never happen again.
- i have worked in 4 different jobs over the past 4 years, but only stuck to one. why? cos working feels like home. working in retail allowed me to see and embrace a lot of different people, both customers and the people i work with. it taught me the reasons why people act that way, why some people are nice why some are always grumpy. it's awesome. feels like i'm studying psychology everytime i'm on shift haha.
i am pretty contented and happy with how my life is now. even though the future might not seem so bright, i believe things will change over time because i want it to and i will. i guess as i welcome the new year and probably one of the biggest year of my life, i will be faced with a whole lot of decision making. at least i know although i may not be as wise as an older person, i can look back upon the things i have done over the past years, all the mistakes done and the lessons learnt and judge things wisely.
also i will have an amazing time tomorrow WHOOOOO.
i am ready, world.. let's see what i've got. happy birthday to me :)
