so puasa here is 12 hours. imsak is round about 5.30am and buka is round abt 5.30pm.
this morning..
i didn't wake up for sahur. because i only slept after midnight and its like not worth it la.
a whole gastrointestinal wreck i've got there just now.
bleagh.

anyhoooos.
omg. after my last post.
i had an awesome wooohoooo transformation la.
like woah. didn't know i could do this kinda thing.
guess what. i've been studying since like wednesday till michael jackson's don't stop till you get enough.
nerd nerd nerd.
gee i'm back hehe.
feels good really.
i have a whole lot of to-do for today and tmr.
but it feels so damn good.
I LOVE SCHOOL hahah.

yeah so let's consider it done. i only have 8 weeks left this sem and then i can kiss goodbye to books for 4 months! then i have one more year and awe awe awe awesomification!

okay let's ponder for a bit shall we?

how does it feel when you open up your bank acct, through atm or internet banking or whatever and then you see your acct balance is like negative?
sucks isn't it. you would probably frantically search for receipts bla bla.
BUT.
what if it was the other way round.
what if today you checked your account balance was $0.58, and you're like 'shit man i don't get my pay till next week'..
and then the next day you checked your bank balance again.. hoping for a miracle or something haha.
and then there was say $500.58?
out of no freaking where?
AHHHH ecstatic? scared? maybe some planned terrorist thingy?
hahahah. well the latter happened to me on THURS.

here's the story...

in school. after being late for a pharmacology class i've been looking forward to go.
i wasn't feeling on top of the world that day cos i missed my lecture.
cos i didn't have the car i went to school by train and bus which took one hour.
time check 10am. so i knew i was broke. and hungry and this two don't really connect well.
broke + hungry = better off dead.
so i checked my bank acct. and ahh here we go again. 'no money no money.'
and then to my giler babi surprise, da la bingit sebab lmbt gi class..
there was an unknown $??? in my acct.
to the best of my knowledge, i wasn't suppose to receive any money for the next few weeks.
the next one being next friday i think the 28th.

so my rxn was..

1) blank face (while staring at the screen) eyes droopy/kusu, mulut ternganga.

2) swallow saliva haha. log off and then log on again in case i terlog on someone else's acct.

3) "huh are you serious?" (scroll the page up and down haha hoping i was dreaming) and this time though i was pretty sure i wasn't happy lol.

4) after about 1 min, then i decided to check out who it was from.

5) the description was pretty vague but there was a series of numbers which i instantly recognise.

6) and then i kinda figured it was from centrelink - my youth allowance i was suppose to get fortnightly from the government because i'm studying (supposedly used to support my studies but you know stuffs like tgk wayang or food comes in alot) - which wasn't due until next next monday. and even if it was due, i wasn't suppose to get THAT MUCH. dude what were they thinking.

7) and then ppl always tell me if you get these payments and stuffs make sure you confirm with them because sometimes they pay you out of mistake and we will be liable for the debt like wtf i know stupid system.

8) so still not happy.. i rang them up.

9) after a mere 2 min phone call the lady on the other line said that yes it's your money - it's a bonus from the prime minister for students and for you to support your studies.

10) I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF. like really. and then i keep laughing.

and laughing.

and laughing.
it's an unbelievable laugh btw.

11) and then i felt like i just won the lottery hahahahah. like my $12million came from nowhere.

pretty amazing huh.
apparently they posted a letter to my house a week ago.
i saw it but i couldn't be bothered to open it cos usually its like the same old thing..
haha so unexpected money is good.

so the next thing i did after that was celebrate haha.
i had to find someone to share it right.. first person to call was nooz. she was cool with it. then i called ambi and sadaf but they had back-to-back classes.

being girls, we decided to go shopping haha but we didn't end up buying anything.
so we went lunch before going back to uni to study.

end of story.

life other than books

i just came back from a dinner/farewell party in fact.
i was at four points hotel for seafood at darling harbour.
a hotel la sey. haha.

i was reluctant to go at first since it ramadan and i'm better off staying at home.
and study or something cos i have shit load of stuff to do.
but then it is one of my best girls in sb and she's leaving so i can't really do this to her.
and plus, eating in a hotel for free. what's not awesome abt that dude?

so when i got there i was surprised.
it was a buffet seafood like EVERYTHING WAS SEAFOOD.
haha i didn't know there was that many species of seafood in one kingdom.
it was good though. it was a formal table setting so there was heaps of utensils!
gee i don't even know which one to begin with.
but considering the fact that 3/4 of us were singaporean/malaysian/thai we ate with our hands.
tada. formal = kopek udang dgn tangan = yummy!

i had 3 dishes you know. 2 seafood mains, one dessert.


my first dish: crab, seafood pasta, lemon, king prawn, seafood sauce and my highlight - balmain bug (it's probably the hardest seafood to eat even with the hands!)


my second dish: oysters (yuck i just had one gave the other away)


my final dish: apple pie and caramel slice


my kakak. she literally calls me dede (meaning adek haha but yeah same same) guess how old is she?


me, nui, priscilla (the only 'pioneers of qvb' haha me and her left), eastlyn and kak azzy.


yeah bnyk kan utensil..

anyway it has been a great week la.
started off pretty rough with the depressing shits and stuffs.
but it picked up.

thank you Allah for giving me the berkat menjelang bulan ramadan ni.
