what a day!

today is a freaking hot day.
right now i'm at home and the temperature is 38 degrees.
i cannot wait to get out of the house and go to the city.
atleast if not cool, it is much cooler than staying in this house.
it's 36 degrees in the city though.
gee. i HATE summer.
winter winter winter.
1 more month of summer. hurry up can?

anyway rmbr i said in my last blog that i have the psychology research thing at uni.
and i'll get paid $20. well it was last thursday kan.
and my scheduled appt was at 9am.
i have the same timeslot as raihana and noorul coincidentally, how freaky is that.
but anyways since we're in the same time, i said okay i'll pick u guys up.
i told raihana that i'll be at her doorstep at 7.30am, and noorul at 8.15am.
i was supposed to wake up at 6am, set my alarm clock and doze off the night before.

but guess what time i woke up? 8.05am.
noorul called like a million times, combined with raihana calls i woke up with a dazzling 27 missed calls on my phone.
tidur mati gaknye.

i quickly siap in like 5 mins hahahaha.
record sey.
swore to myself for being late - 1 min.
like mandi - 2 mins.
pki baju - 1 min.
pack bag - 1 min.

heh i reached raihana's house at 8.30am.
sian ah. late already but i just drive ah.
reached noorul's house at 9.05am.
bloody traffic. and then reached uni at 9.15am.

soo the two girls said it was ok cos they are other sessions as well.
so we emailed the lady in charge to see if we can come to the next session.
and then yay she said we could come for the 10.30 one.
soo between 9.15-9.45am we're just going around doing our ID cards for this year.
and settling some enrolments shit.

right then atleast we will still get the $20 each right. heh.
then at 9.45am, my dad called.
he said he needs me to drive him to a radiography clinic in alaexandria which is 5 mins away from uni.
for his nerve blocking thing.
and then i asked him - ayah knape buat appt nari i thought its on friday so atleast mama ble teman you.
then he said doctor is not here on friday.
i was like shit. but then again he's my dad so my priority.
then i asked what time is the appt.
he said 11.30am. time check, 9.45am.
to get home from uni takes a staggering 35 mins drive and to drive back to alexandria the clinic takes 30mins.
assuming that my rusty maths calculations are right, it means i have to leave uni around 10.30 to actually make it to the appt on time.

i could go for the later session at 2pm but guess what im working at 2pm.
sooo i cancelled my psychology session and let the girls go.
sad right.
then i sent dad, and his thing was fast ahh like at 11.30 dah bes.
soo i had to send him home again.
he cant drive cos he is nausea, safety precautions ah.

after all that i got home at 1.15pm.
if i were to go to work i will be late, confirm.
soo i cannot be bothered already, i called in sick for work.
lucky for me its my manager yang angkat phone right.
then he said he will clock me in as sick so i will still get paid.
i told eastlyn to come in work for me.

geee. and it all happened because i woke up late.

i guess the $20 wasn't meant to be mine.
hehe. its okay. next wed i have another one and this time it'll be good.

the rest of the day was a blur actually.
i was mainly hibernating. heh.

yesterday went to watch slumdog millionaire.
it was really good. very inpiring.
lots of lessons to be learnt.
it's produced in india. i dont know if they are screening there in singapore or already did but yeah if u have the chance to go watch. real good.
makes us think. and appreciate what we have now.

i'm not working today my only off day easier said.
next one will be next saturday. i'm working 6 days straight la.
geee. today is katie's and nat's farewell soo i'm going.
