i have been working alot lately.
30 hours/6 days a week.
a mixture of 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 hour shifts.
damn i hate the 8 hour shifts ah.
especially the ones that makes me come at 6.30am.
in other word makes me wake up at 5am.
anyway.
something happened at work last saturday.
stealing.
i was closing my cash register.
and i have to count it right.
which when i found out i am $100 under.
for the very first time.
so i told sisca my supervisor.
and she tried looking for it in the safe and other registers.
but still nope, no $100.
which then i rmbred something.
i rmbred when one of my partners using my till right.
there's this non-speaking english man who gave $100 note for a $3.55 latte.
well obviously the change will be $96.45 right.
but somehow he tried talking in his broken english to for some change or something.
which utterly confused my friend.
i was there beside her while the transaction was occuring.
i was looking at the computer screen cos it was quite a scene so i wanted to help out but that man distracted me by telling me he wanted it takeaway or something and he's rushing.
well okay, so i made the drink while my friend finished the transaction.
i have a strong feeling he purposely did that to confuse my friend and to stop me from bugging in.
instead she gave him $196.45 which err, is ALOT of money.
well it was my mistake. why?
firstly.
i shouldn't even let him distract my coolness la.
and stay freaking alert.
secondly.
i shouldn't let someone else use my register.
most likely i will get a corrective action for the latter reason.
IF someone tell john what happened.
cos we're not allowed to let someone use our till.
my first corrective action.
2 more and i'm considered fired.
lol.
i really hope karma gets back to that man.
b-tard.
anyway.
let's move on to happier topics yes?
it's so easy to make money ah in uni.
next week i'm participating in this psychology experiment thingy.
and they paying me $20 if i come between 9-10am.
there's another one even this focus group thing, about hair care.
it's a 4 hour thing right and they paying us $170.
ahahah.
isn't it awesome? gee.
i applied for a job in uni for orientation week and secured myself an interview in 2 weeks time.
other than that, work's been revolving my life.
gym too. ahaha.
oh and i watched bride wars.
the one with kate hudson and anne hathaway.
it's funny to a certain extent but it could be a movie you will love if u sorta love chick flicks.
and, it really did thought me a whole lot of other meanings to friendship other than those i've already known.
if you've got nothing to do, or just wanna kill time, watch it.
or else, wait for the dvd or vcd or something or watch online. (:
