ok, i know it's been...
one month and 8 days that i haven't blogged.
sorry.

but yes.
to sum everything that's happened in my life.
it's been bittersweet, busy but fun.

hell i'm loving uni.
it keeps me running all day long.
i'm yet to lose weight though.
but i will. yeap.

so what's been happening for the past 5 weeks?
its week 8 now in uni.
i had quite abit of assignments.
4 to be exact.
got back results.
pretty daunting but, motivating.

and guess what..
i still have assignments.
its like they never end you know.
like the catabolism and anabolism that runs in our body every second.
sorry, but i have this bio test tmr.
it's weird. but yes i'm still hanging on.

i had my biology assignment. it's worth ermm 7.5%.
hahah. i got 6.35%. it's good, it is ok.
in uni, that's a distinction.
not bad.

my first maths test, worth 10%.
i got... 9/10! yay.
i know for all subjects its maths.
it's really cool you know.
secured a high distinction.

my chem test is fine.
i never liked chem so why talk about it no?
:)

oh and did i tell you i'm thinking of dropping media.
yes because i discovered with my entry level written english, it will not get me far.
it's good that i took up this subject though atleast i know what's it like being a media student.
i'm not doing media next semester.

the practical component of this course is cool.
i THOUGHT i might do well in this component but sometimes it just doesn't go how we think aye.
i got my provisional grade and i got D+.
yep. hahah soooo when i looked at my photoshop productions, hahah.
i simply laughed and said to myself. what am i doing, aqilah.
and i started thinking, if this is what i called good is D+, what about A+?
hmmm, thinks.

let's just say i wouldn't wanna hassle myself with all this bulls.

the theory part on the other hand is a killer.
they expect me to read a 20page article on some new media etc etc, every week.
its not compulsory but its that feeling that you get when you come to class and in your mind will be... what the hell are they talking abt?
soo yeah its kinda compulsory you know.
let's put it this way, it's just not cool to read about media.
to me that is.

so.. my final say is, drop.
i'll stick to my science course.
and even if the name is nothing fancy, i'll be happy to live through uni with that rather den dying along the way out of boredom and lost-ness.

and that's the thing, uni's flexible that you can change your course anytime you want.

you know i thought i knew what i wanna do in life, but when i get to uni, i don't.
it's ironic but yes. i might change my course again next semester maybe to something more ermm, corny.
but you never know what i'm up to.
heh. but no.

i made out a plan of what's gonna happen in the next 10 years or so of my life.
i'll be 29 den, hopefully unless i find a time machine, i'd be glad to just stay at 18.
but chances are i'll be 29 in 2018.
scary. but accept it my friend.

2008-2010: my beautiful science course if i successfully finish all required courses i will be done in 2010. i'll be ermm 21?
2011-2014: let's just say i still wanna be a doctor. so here's when i actually start my medicine degree. 4 years. i'll be 25 by then. still young.
2015-2018: and remember being an obstetrician? yes that's gonna be 4 years as well. fun? oh yeahhhh. when i graduate, i'll be 29.

you knw that plan is flexible.
if i don't get into medicine in 2011, i will do my honours year, and enter in 2012.

if i don't get into medicine by 2013, you know what i wanna do?
i wanna be like my brother.
PhD. doktor falsafah. doctor of philosophy.
not a medical doctor but still, a doctor.
hahah. and then i don't know what's gonna happen.
i might move to the UK.
yay.

well then again, that's just a plan.

life outside classroom?
not short of it mate.

life rocks la currently.
though i'm gonna face 3 weeks of the busiest time of my life ahead..
i'm having fun.

med revue is on next week.
it's like a comedy sketch by unsw students on anything medical related.
and then there's law revue too.
yeah it should be a hit.
can't wait.

i'm in contact.
a volunteer service thingy.
me and noorul's plan: get the most out of uni by volunteering.
learn new stuffs, make new friends, and have fun.
and of course experience for future employers.
yay.

movie every week.
watched 27 dresses, forgetting sarah marshall, smart people, made of honour this wednesday.

riding every day.
my scooter. my brother's to be exact. :)
i like it laaaa.

went to max just now with nooz.
everyone you have to have to eat max once in your life.
it's just the best ever la.
i can never get sick of it.
and just imagine someone like me who rarely eat chocolate.
love max brenner?
yes. there's one in esplanade just so you know.
it might be ridiculously expensive, but its worth trying.
but beware its addictive.
but for all those losties, max brenner is a cafe which sells everything chocolate.
like super nice choc.
try the belgian waffle.
and banana split latte.
AHHHHH HEAVEN.







and it really helps especially if u just had a bad week or having your stupid periods.

oh anddd..
i think i'm in love with ASUS eee pc.
ahh, that cute lil thing.
noorul just got her hands on one that's why.
i'm so jealous.
it's really cute and small that you can just bring it everywhere and ANYWHERE.
you know it helps especially when you always carry around your 3kg laptop everywhere.
that thing is barely 1kg. 0.92kg to be exact.
sweet stuff.







my fave supervisor in sbux left.
my manager's leaving.
everyone else who opened the store is leaving.
me? i think i'm gonna too. soon. next year hopefully.
i need money for now.

ok that's what i wrote TWO days ago.
its a new day now.

guess what?

i watched a super duper chick flick just now.
MADE OF HONOR. oh man.
it was the best. seriously.

you guys should watch it.
starring patrick dempsey from enchanted and michelle monaghan from the heartbreak kid.
two very talented stars.

its about this guy tom (patrick dempsey) who has the perfect life, has his group of guy friends and girls who he sleeps with. and he has also this very one best friend, hannah. they've known each other for like 10 years. life's going good its a perfect picture but when hannah had to go to scotland for 6 weeks for a business trip, tom was lost without her. and then he felt like he has fallen for her. he planned to tell hannah when she comes back, only to find out that she is engaged to a scottish guy who is both successful and wealthy. that's when hannah, since tom was he best friend made him her 'maid' of honour (bridesmaid la gitu). heartbroken and sad, tom had to use this opportunity as a maid of honour to get her back and marry her.

very cute and funny and, emotional.
hahah.
i know my review is not good so go watch it ok.
i'll give it 4.5/5.
better than heartbreak kid.
