alhamdullilah.
today i have heaps of interesting news to say.
let's make it short and simple ok?
1) my uni offer
alhamdullilah i got into the uni and the course i wanted and yes i am going to be an official tertiary student in about 2 months :)
17 Jan at 9pm.
saw my offer through the university admission centre website.
was pretty good yayness.
enrolled into the course and everything.
got into the same uni as sadaf. and also noorul. and also my brother.
got my timetable.
was pretty fun doing it.
and yes. all done.
3rd March-7th March is orientation week.
what they call o week.
it's cool.
officially start uni on 10th march.
still have about 2 months minus minus.
and yeah.
what course?
bachelor of science (media and communications) - 3 years full time at UNSW.
subjects i'm taking for first year semester 1?
- biology (molecules, cells and genes)
- chem (fundamentals of chemistry 1A)
- maths (mathematics for life sciences)
- media (new media technologies 1A)
can't wait to start la!
new lifestyle.
new plans, goals etc.
new mates.
but then.
uni fees are really bugging me right now.
need about $3500 by 16 March.
and as normal.
i feel excited but nervous to actually experience IT.
i don't know what lies ahead of me.
but hey, that's the adventure of life.
yay.
2) my timetable
uni mcm poly ah.
flexible ape.
heh. finally la.
some days are long, some days are short.
the gaps in between..
i don't know what i'll use them for but i better find something to do.
maybe tennis?
hahaha. or taekwondo.
swimming.
gym.
study even.
library?
bleagh. chillness.
eat.
sleep.
shopping?
only like ten mins to the city.
ten mins to bondi, coogee and maroubra.
they're beaches btw. and shopping centres.
i love that centralised location la.
oh well. we'll see.
3) meet baby A
ahah. i want to welcome officially, my baby.

mum's present for my entry to uni. :)
hoho. it's a bargain really.
$700. times by 1.2.. about $840 in singapore.
acer aspire 5720z.
it has pentium dual core.
252mb graphics.
1gb ddr2 ram.
120gb hdd.
dvd dual layer shit.
wireless.
15inch screen.
vista home premium.
i wish it has a smaller screen.
i even thought of buying the asus eee pc.
cute sweet and cute.
but then i thought i'm going to use this for the next 3 years so might as well.
plus with specs like that.. $700 here is a bargain really.
the cheapest laptop new one you can get here is $550.
but it has the crappiest processor so yeah.

4) australian citizenship?
hmm.
i will be seating for my australian citizenship test very soon.
so i'm studying now using this 45 page book.
i can only apply for citizenship after 11 april but i have to pass this test first before i can apply.
the minimum requirement is i have to be physically in australia as a permanent resident for 2 years.
5) starbucksssss
eh my neighbour in singapore is working at starbucks seyy.
at uhhh where eh.
alar forgot what she said.
hah.
i think.
oh yeah wisma atria.
haha. not bad aye.
seriously i'm officially sick of customers.
i have been working 30 hours a week facing customers and damn they make me sick.
AHHH.
those filthy rich people just wants it to be perfect and they think we're stupid.
those bloody cinonets who can't speaky proper english wanna tell us off in their language.
and they can't stop ordering green tea capooocheeno. eff its frappucino dammit.
AHHHHHHHH!
and we've got no choice cos CUSTOMERS COME FIRST.
but then again.
i can't complain much.
cos the people working with me are super fun la.
and just three weeks to go that i'm gonna work for 30 hours.
itll be fine.
6) my plans tmr
hahah.
working four hours on a sunday :)
yayness. 8-12pm.
just open the store and make about 100 cups of drinks.
and go home.
cos aussiess.. they don't wake up early on sunday.
they only wake up at like 11 or 12.
when i finish work.
hah. so good laaaa.

and then we have muharram doa2 thing at the mosque.
its called darul IMAAN mosque.

and yeah.
and then home sweets homes.
and btw, starting 8 march right.
i'm gonna teach Malay classes at the mosque how fun is that.
teach people of all ages, mainly like kids and teens who were brought up here.
me, noorul and sarah we are teachers.
haha.
